It is a Turkish folk tale that is thought to haveemerged in the 17th century and tells about the loveof two young people who think they are brothers. Thesubject is as follows: A caravan is overwhelmed bythe old on the way. Only a little boy survives the raid.A child adopted by a family is named Kanber. After awhile, this family had a daughter, and they named itAThthildthikihth
After a while, interest or concern begins betweenthem. When they find out that they are not brothers,they want to get married.
Arzu's mother opposes this marriage and marriesher daughter to a wealthy merchant. But the mandies after a short while, and the mother interferes,although they try to get married again. The loversfind each other by accident.
They both faint with the excitement of theKavusman. The wicked mother, who watches herdaughter constantly, wants to separate them again,but since the young people are covered with water,she cannot reach them. After a while, a pigeonhatches from each of the two lovers' breasts andthey both die there.
